Ilika Plc has developed a portfolio of high throughput techniques for polymer charcterisation including :

• Gel Permeation Chromatography
• Hyper DSC
• Wettability
• Viscosity
• IR analysis
• Mpt
• Densitometry

Once the polymer spots are prepared onto microarrays, all spots are simultaneously subjected to the cells in question and their behaviour is analysed individually. The microarray is subjected to observation agents such as DAPI and FITC that allows the observation of cell behaviour. Ilika Plc uses a set of high quality scanning equipment combined with robotics developed in-house to analyse cell behaviour on each and every polymer spot.

Once the multitude of polymer spots have been prepared on the microarrays, all spots are simultaneously subjected to the cells in question and the behaviour of each spot is analysed individually on an automated one-by-one basis. Cells are often stained (e.g. DAPI) or screened with fluorescently labeled antibodies (FITC) that allows the observation of cell behaviour, binding ability or phenotype. Ilika Plc uses high quality scanning equipment combined with robotics developed in-house to analyse cell behaviour on each and every polymer spot. Analytical facilities for microarrays include:

(a).White light DNA chip reader - with multiple filters.

(b). High Content Microscope based Scanning with bright field and/or Fluorescence (multiple wavelengths).

(c). Real-time pseudo confocal imaging for chips and plates.
