Ilika’s Quality Management System (QMS) for the development of solid-state batteries and materials research and development programmes has been assessed and found to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 by DAS certification.   ISO 9001 is the world's most widely recognised QMS and helps organizations to meet the expectations and needs of their customers.

The certification promotes the development of continual improvement, customer satisfaction, traceability and international best practices. Ilika aims to provide clients with the highest quality services and the ISO certification means that clients can have increased confidence in the service provided.

Commenting on the award, Graeme Purdy, Ilika CEO, said, “We believe that this ISO 9001 certification demonstrates our commitment to providing our clients with an unrivalled, world-class service. The certification is an enabler for closer cooperation with both our suppliers and our customers, who are increasingly adopting this standard for their own processes. As Ilika moves closer to the transfer of its technology to manufacturing partners, ISO 9001 is proving to be a useful tool for communication of process detail on a common quality platform.”
